Abbott House is pleased to announce that we have increased our starting hourly wage rates for Direct Support Professionals (SPDD), Child Care Workers (Group Homes), and Child Care Counselors (Non-Secure Detention), effective 8/2/2021.
The current starting wages are as follows:
- Direct Support Professionals (full-time, part-time, per-diem) working in Westchester County and Rockland County have been raised to $15.00 an hour. The starting hourly wage rate for all Direct Support Professionals (full-time, part-time, per-diem) working in the Bronx has been raised to $16.61 an hour.
- Child Care Workers (full-time, part-time, per-diem) working in Westchester County and Sullivan County have been raised to $15.00 an hour.
- Child Care Counselors (full-time, part-time, per-diem) working in Queens has been raised to $17.00 an hour.
