Teen Boys in a Group Home

Abbott House Group Homes provide a safe and supportive environment for adolescents who are unable to live with their families. Our staff is trained and experienced in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or other challenges. We offer individualized care plans, therapeutic services, educational support, recreational activities, and life skills development. Our goal is to help our residents heal, grow, and thrive in their communities.

Abbott House Group homes have recently been certified as QRTP’s or Qualified Residential Treatment Programs. This means they offer more treatment and evidence-based trauma-informed care and not just placement. Abbott House has three QRTP group homes for youth between the ages of 15-21. The Group Homes feature supportive medical and social work services provided through 29i and each home can accommodate up to 8 young people. Additional services include a Youth Development Navigator who looks to enhance educational support and expose youth to post high school opportunities and an independent living coordinator preparing each youth for discharge and true self-sufficiency.
