Abbott House is dedicated to recruiting, training, and supporting compassionate families willing to open their homes and hearts to children and adolescents in need. For those requiring additional support beyond what a family setting can provide, our Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) offers essential assistance. Within a group setting, we foster a safe and nurturing environment where children and teens can begin their individual journeys towards permanency and a prosperous future.
Our overarching goal is to equip families with the necessary support to effectively care for their children, thereby reducing the length of time children spend in foster care. Moreover, we are committed to seeking forever families through adoption and kinship guardianship for those children who cannot return home. By helping children develop a resilient foundation of skills and experiences, we empower them to thrive and pursue a successful future.
